Do you listen to Mark Kermode's film reviews on BBC radio? He totally tore apart this remake, but in a really funny way, it'd probably make you feel better if you heard it ;) I haven't seen the original yet, but it's on my must-see list, definitely.
I just listened to it - it's great :D
I listen to his reviews now and then and they are usually pretty close to what I think about the films.
Except for that incredibly enthusiastic review of Waqt - apparently he really liked the film. :D
The Wicker Man is really worth watching - it's quite odd, the atmosphere is pretty strange and the climax is really creepy.
